When?
The Growth Groups are launching in Solent in Nov 2024, with a Taster event to see what it’s all about. The Group sessions begin in January 2025 .
Sessions will open at 09.00 with a 09.30 start time to allow for school drop-offs.
Where?
The session will be held in The Hub, the completely refurbished Southampton landmark conveniently located right beside the train station.
Who?
The events are led by two top-class facilitators with extensive, successful careers in the digital sector.
Your Facilitators
Fred Bassett
Our Solent Group ‘Expert’ is Fred Bassett. Fred is a business coach, director, investor and mentor for startup and growth-phase businesses. He started his career in advertising and marketing. Founding his first business at the age of 27 he has successfully created, grown and exited three businesses in the entertainment, digital design and healthcare sectors.
Fred is now focussed on supporting business owners through mentoring and coaching. He is a board advisor to several startups and growth phase businesses, a director of an innovation consultancy, and a mentor at Future Worlds (The University of Southampton’s on-campus business accelerator).
Natalie Haigh
Natalie brings a highly collaborative approach, with a history in building strong relationships, motivating teams, and helping leaders align their vision with actionable growth plans.
She brings a wealth of knowledge in leading large-scale organisational changes, fostering software adoption, and creating effective strategies that drive results - which includes founding and running her own software development house. She has extensive experience in software functional design and a passion for mentoring startup founders. She specialises in guiding business leaders through complex challenges and unlocking their potential.
Whether through one-to-one mentorship, dynamic workshops or programme leadership, her passion is to empower leaders to achieve their goals with clarity, confidence, and creativity.
